According to World Health Organization, 3% of world’s population have mental retardation. It is very unfortunate that children with special needs suffer from substantial marginalization and stigmatization. Often these children are less likely to be in school and inclusive education, a dream of every special school still has a very long way to go. With better education and more access to jobs, special children as they move into adulthood can become an integral part of society.

“Children truly are the future of our nation. We owe to them and our nation, to ensure that all children are born with the best possible chance to live, love grow and excel”.
